We assist anyone — especially young people — to overcome barriers to learning, working and enjoying life in Mount Isa and Cloncurry.
Our story
From a secret café’s red door to a regional charity.
RedDoor started quietly in 2015 and was formally established in 2017. The name has a simple origin: in the early days our café was almost a secret, tucked away with an old red exit door beside it. Word spread around Cloncurry, and whenever people asked how to find us, the answer was the same — “go in through the red door.” The name stuck. Our official registered name is Multiskill Centre Ltd.
We are a registered Not-For-Profit Charity. We are not religious or political, and we treat all people with respect and dignity regardless of who they are or where they have come from in life.
We believe in the value of a work routine. We focus on helping young people get an education, gain meaningful work skills, and genuinely enjoy the community they live in.

Directional Committee

Where we work
Proudly North West Queensland.
We operate on Kalkadoon country in Mount Isa and Mitakoodi country in Cloncurry. We understand the unique challenges faced by those living in remote and regional Queensland, and we design our support around them.

Our Directional Committee
RedDoor is guided by a Directional Committee of local people who assist in making decisions that have local impact. They guide and give advice, and they listen and genuinely care about what's happening in their community.
Frances Cole
Social Enterprise & Young People
A Cloncurry local who started with the RedDoor Café many years ago. Frances now runs a social enterprise and guides the board on young people in social enterprise.
Lynlee
SIL House Leader, Cloncurry
Experienced in supporting members of the community, Lynlee leads the Cloncurry SIL houses and advises the board on how best to support SIL clients in Mt Isa and Cloncurry.
Namika Bell
NDIS Supports
A Cloncurry local who heads our NDIS administration team, Namika has intimate knowledge of the supports needed locally and advises the board on resourcing NDIS clients.
